ASPIRESPACE SOUNDING ROCKET VEHICLE (ASRV) |
The ASRV is a small sounding rocket designed to give team members experience in rocket construction and launch operations, and to allow access to rocket launched payloads for schools and universities. To date, 2 ASRV rockets have been launched. ASRV-1 in October, 1996, and ASRV-2 in March, 1997. In addition to this, a number of smaller rockets have been launched to test sub systems for use on the ASRV and other AspireSpace rockets. These rockets are referred to as the AspireSpace Experimental Vehicles (AXVs).
