Project Title:

Ocean Model Data

Project Description:

To use existing visualization software to visualize the high-resolution climate ocean model data generated on the Cray T3D massively parallel computer; to produce movie animations using AVS (Advanced Visualization System) on the Cray T3D front-end.

Background Information:

The taskj is to build a system that can automatically convert large volume of data stored in disk to graphic/video form. It requires data format conversion from the model output to the renderer input, and to graphic/video device.
