Venus is an distributed administration tool for any network built of Unix workstations from different hardware vendors. A Venus network presents itselfs to the user as a homogeneous computer system and guarantees transparent access to any network resource. It provides software tools for major cluster management tasks: configuration management, software distribution, user and filesystem administration.
